1.   Cut artichokes lengthwise in half.

2.   Cut bread lengthwise into quarters.

3.   Cut tomatoes lengthwise into halves and brush with some dressing.

4.   Cut bulbs in half lengthwise, then cut fennel lengthwise into very thin slices.

5.   Cut artichokes lengthwise into quarters and remove chokes.

7.   Peel the cucumbers and cut them lengthwise in half.
