1.   Keep a packet of pitta bread in the freezer, heat up under the grill from frozen and cut into fingers.

2.   They are displayed whole at meat counters or are cut into short lengths and packaged.

3.   For dessert, my sister served cookies cut into the shapes of crabs and crawfish along with Southern Praline Bars.

4.   Thick rubber mats can be cut into designs and used as a pattern for sugar confections.

5.   Whether the beets are grated, julienned or simply cut into cubes is a matter of taste.
