1.   The victim, Rodney G. King, suffered fractures to the skull, a crushed eye socket and a broken ankle, and possible permanent brain damage.

2.   Amy White of Axson, Ga., who suffered a crushed eye socket and fractured nose, underwent surgery and graduated this spring with a nursing degree.

3.   She suffered a broken jaw, a crushed eye socket and numerous gashes and cuts.

4.   The reconstructive surgery will repair injuries such as broken noses or jaws, crushed eye sockets, scars caused by gunfire or cigarette burns.

5.   The woman has recovered from her injuries, including a broken jaw and a crushed eye socket, and is considering returning to school.
