1.   Efforts to comb the rubble were stalled again Saturday as the temperature dropped and rain and hail pelted the scene off and on through the day.

2.   This week, instead of the familiar bell tower, passersby were greeted by backhoes combing the rubble of what was once the pride of the community.

3.   A cleanup operation was under way Tuesday afternoon as police dogs combed the rubble in case others had been buried in the slide.

9.   Maj. Gen. Gabi Ofir said the risk of continuing the searches in the unstable ruins of the three-story building was too great to continue combing the rubble.

10.   Meanwhile, workers from the United States and France used dogs to comb rubble from a collapsed elevated railway station but found neither bodies nor survivors.
