1.   In Los Angeles our supporters outnumbered Operation Rescue demonstrators three to one and kept a planned clinic blockade from even getting started.

2.   Clinic blockades have all but disappeared and death threats, which have in the past been a prelude to violence, were noticeably down.

3.   Now, the court will look at whether clinic blockades and violence amount to extortion under the law.

4.   The law also allows abortion providers and patients to seek injunctions in federal courts to prevent clinic blockades and to sue for damages if blockades or attacks take place.
