2.   A federal grand jury in Virginia is investigating whether the clinic attacks around the country are linked.

3.   Police have not disclosed a possible motive for the clinic attack.

4.   Police were already stationed at the nearby Planned Parenthood abortion clinic on the same block after recent clinic attacks in Atlanta and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
