1.   After the service, pet owners lined up to have their dogs and cats and other assorted creatures blessed by clergy from the cathedral.

2.   The number of same-sex unions quietly blessed by clergy is not known.

3.   Local clergy may bless same-sex unions without fear of reprisal.

4.   They object to the practice by the Episcopal Church, the U.S. branch of Anglicanism, of ordaining active homosexuals and allowing clergy to bless same-sex unions.
