1.   A thin person, the kind who has always been thin, is confronted by a chocolate cake with dark fudge icing and chopped pecans.

2.   Add chopped pecans, berries, chopped apples or dried cranberries before cooking.

3.   Add powdered sugar, chopped pecans, water and vanilla, stirring until blended.

4.   Add the chopped pecans, golden raisins and diced apples to the flour mixture.

5.   Buttercrunch triangles called Sweet Sloops, by Harbor Sweets in Salem, Mass., are coated with white chocolate, edged in dark chocolate and encrusted with chopped pecans.

6.   Combine chopped pecans and remaining ingredients, except chocolate, in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon until evenly moistened.

7.   Cut into squares and top with chopped pecans.

8.   For topping, melt a few tablespoons butter, then stir in a little brown sugar and lots of chopped pecans.

9.   Frost the cake and sprinkle the top of it with chopped pecans and flaked coconut.

10.   Garnish with chopped pecans and crumbled blue cheese.
