1.   Roughly chop the livers and scatter over the duck meat along with the ham.

2.   To prepare the stuffing, chop the livers finely and put into a bowl.

4.   Saute chicken livers, chop the livers with pepper and anchovy fillets until well blended.

5.   Sometimes the topping would be sauteed mushrooms or chopped liver, often with sage.
