1.   In chilled small bowl using chilled beaters, beat cream just until it begins to thicken.

2.   In chilled stainless-steel mixing bowl with chilled beaters, whip cream until it thickens slightly.

3.   Using chilled beaters, beat with electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form.

4.   Using chilled bowl and chilled beater, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it into the chilled and thickened custard.
