1.   Daulton was hired by the Devil Rays this offseason to serve as catching instructor.

2.   He spent extra time in spring training working with catching instructor Russ Nixon.

3.   Lee Mazzilli will be first base coach for the third season in a row, and Tom Nieto will be catching instructor for the second straight season.

4.   Moved catching instructor Darren Daulton to bullpen coach, bullpen coach Terry Collins to third base coach and third base coach Billy Hatcher to bench coach.

5.   Tom Nieto joins the staff as catching instructor, replacing Bob Didier, who returned to his former job as a Yankees advance scout.
