4.   All our cats seem offended by huge quantities of foods, even those they profess to love.

5.   Cats just seem to know what that box is for.

6.   Cats seem to resent my presence.

8.   Fortunately, even the cats seemed a little tired of these precious audience encounters, and they gave up on me after I averted my eyes a few times.

9.   It is an odd game of cat-and-mouse, where the mice are multiplying and the old cat often seems not terribly hungry.
