1.   The attackers were members of the Ranvir Sena, an armed group that defends the interests of upper caste Hindu landowners, said Yadav, a police subinspector.

3.   The Ranbir Sena is suspected of receiving arms and funding from upper caste landowners.

4.   Yadav campaigned on promises to help landless, low caste Biharis subjected to unimaginable exploitation by high caste landowners.
