1.   Aczel goes back to the Bible to explore the origins of the use of the four cardinal directions.

2.   Congregants have been given four cards, one for each cardinal direction of the Earth.

3.   Four paths lead to its center, each aligned with a cardinal direction, each marked by a small pillar of chiseled limestone.

4.   Pillars will also be set up at the cardinal directions to symbolize the sanctity of the venue where the opening ceremony is to be held.
