1.   Canadian fertilizer producer Agrium Inc and Amoco Corp of the U.S. may build a fertilizer plant in the southern Argentine province of Neuquen.

2.   The venture also includes Perez Companc SA, another Argentine oil company, and Canadian fertilizer maker Agrium Inc.

3.   The Norsk Hydro AS industrial group has completed a takeover of the Canadian fertilizer concern Nutrite by acquiring all outstanding shares, the Norwegian company said Friday.

4.   Prospective partners also include Broken Hill Proprietary Co. of Australia, Canadian fertilizer maker Agrium Inc. and government-run Vietnam National Chemical Corp.
