1.   An announcement by Tennessee state officials that karnal bunt fungus was detected in soft red winter wheat in eight counties also concerned traders.

2.   Corn futures were mostly lower, partly on speculation that wheat tainted with the karnal bunt fungus could be used for livestock feed in competition with corn.
