1.   The ball reached the stumps well before Larsen, who claimed bowler John Rennie broke the wicket before gathering in the ball.

2.   Umpire Cyril Mitchley called for TV replay assistance and the verdict was that a freshening wind rather than bat or body had broken the wicket.

3.   Watkinson threw but neither hit the stumps nor gave John Crawley an opportunity to break the wicket with Lara struggling for safety.

4.   The Jamaican and Gloucestershire bowler resisted the temptation to break the wicket and just smiled a last warning at the batsman.
