1.   Most of them were put up in the last year with the intention of blocking the handover of more West Bank land to the Palestinians.

2.   The department said the handover could be blocked only if there were objective and serious fears that there were concrete shortcomings in the Indian prosecution.

3.   Militant Jewish settlers have pledged to block the handover.

4.   Some Serbs have vowed to block the handover or leave if it goes ahead.
