1. After surgery patients were not routinely endoscoped and injection of varices was only carried out if and when bleeding occurred. 2. Bleeding can occur directly or through the pseudocyst, if present. 3. Having the protein always available by gene therapy would probably be far better than the present treatment, in which Factor IX is injected only after bleeding has occurred. 4. If a polyp is removed, bleeding can occur. 5. Then bleeding can occur internally or ooze from needle sites and through the nose and mouth. 6. Woods such as pine, fir, and white cedar contain fewer tannins, and bleeding does not occur. |
