1.   The Norwegian master, Hugo Larsen, blamed arson, and a further criminal hearing was expected.

2.   After arson was blamed for the fire, speculation focused on organized crime involvement.

3.   The entire episode illustrated once again the rather stunning capacity of some of us for missing the point when the arson was blamed on white racists.

4.   Police blamed arson for the fires, but no arrests have been made.
