1.   As the moist air ascends the terrain of western New England, wet snow will occur in the interior of New England.

2.   A broken band of light snow and flurries will occur where moist winds ascend the sloping terrain near the east slopes of the northern Rockies.

3.   A jet stream disturbance will combine with winds ascending sloping terrain to produce rain and snow showers in New Mexico, Colorado and North Texas.

4.   Farther west, air will be forced to ascend sloping terrain behind a cold front in Wyoming, promoting cloudy skies and a few showers.

5.   Heat will persist in southeastern Texas, but a cluster of clouds and showers will drift over parts of western Texas, where moist winds ascend the sloping terrain.

6.   Intermittent light snow will persist, especially where breezes ascend the sloping terrain.

7.   Local flooding will occur, especially where the moist tropical winds ascend the sloping terrain.

8.   Patches of light snow will develop in the central high Plains as a weak disturbance interacts with moist winds ascending the terrain.

9.   Periods of snow will be common along west-facing slopes where moist winds ascend the terrain.

10.   Patchy clouds and snow showers will occur where winds ascend the sloping terrain of the northern Rockies.
