1.   How about barbecued short ribs, smoked chicken ravioli or roasted pork loin with dried apple, raisin and apricot sauce?

2.   Place lamb shanks in a glass or other nonreactive dish, and add apricot sauce.

3.   Quail with apricot sauce is one prime menu dish.

4.   The meat will be literally falling off the bone, and you can then glaze it with the apricot sauce and crisp it in the oven.

5.   With it was an apricot sauce, which I made with dried Turkish apricots.
