1.   Sometimes small animals leaped out and scurried away.

2.   The smaller animals can easily leap from tree to tree.

3.   Many animals leap from bough to bough, and sometimes fall to the ground.

4.   There was a terrific scuffle accompanied by loud growls, and after a few seconds the animals leapt apart and ran in opposite directions.
