1.   It allowed more shops to sell and advertise the precious metal, and allowed Indians living abroad to bring home the gold.

2.   The law will not allow Mexicans living outside of the country to vote in Mexican elections, but that could be changed by new legislation.

3.   The other changes will allow citizens living outside Botswana to vote, and replace the government-appointed office of supervisor of elections with an independent electoral commission.

4.   The proposed law would still allow Croats living abroad to run for office, but would not set aside seats specifically for them.
