1.   Seniors particularly hate the idea that legal and illegal aliens are receiving government benefits in general, and Medicare or Medicaid in particular.

2.   The Republican bill, which will probably go to the House floor next month, says that illegal aliens may not receive school meals subsidized by the federal government.

3.   This burden is partly offset by the economic contributions alien workers make and mitigated by the fact that illegal aliens cannot lawfully receive most welfare benefits.

4.   The list must be checked before any alien can receive a visa.
