1.   Brief afternoon rainstorms across northern Tarrant County cooled off parts of the Fort Worth-Arlington area, but only for a short time.

4.   The race originally was scheduled for Saturday night, but moved to noon Sunday after another in a series of afternoon rainstorms.

5.   It took a late afternoon rainstorm Saturday to keep Michelle Estill from building a commanding lead in the LPGA Rainbow Classic.

6.   No one was injured in the afternoon rainstorm, although walls and balconies of other homes were also damaged.
