1.   An Afghan spectator stepped forward and kicked the player in the head, Flight Lt. Tony Marshall said.

2.   He cocked his Kalashnikov and it went off unintentionally, hitting an Afghan spectator in the leg, Marshall said.

3.   He cocked his Kalashnikov and it went off unintentionally, hitting two Afghan spectators in their legs, said a witness, Wahid Ullah.

4.   Two Afghan spectators kicked him in the head, according to Marshall and witnesses, bringing an Afghan guard from the U.S. Embassy to his defense.
