51.   Under the Belgian constitution a minister can be indicted only if parliament first agrees to lift his or her immunity from prosecution.

52.   Under the deal, which was brokered by Russian Prime Minister Viktor Chernomyrdin, parliament agreed to drop its impeachment drive.
