41. A humid air mass moved across the islands this morning producing some showers mainly across the north and east sections of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. 42. A system in the northern Plains produced isolated showers in eastern North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. 43. A trailing cold front produced showers in the Southeast and along the Gulf Coast. 44. A tropical wave moving into the area produced showers overnight in eastern sections of Puerto Rico and over the coastal waters. 45. A small patch of clouds moved across our area earlier this morning producing scattered showers mainly across the U.S. Virgin Islands and eastern sections of Puerto Rico. 46. A trough of low pressure to the south of Puerto Rico and a pre-frontal trough in Hispaniola will combine to produce scattered showers in the area later today. 47. Additional showers will likely reach St. Thomas, St. John and north and northeast Puerto Rico tonight to produce scattered showers. 48. An area of low pressure moving over the Great Lakes produced snow showers across southeastern Wisconsin, northern Illinois, Michigan, northern Indiana and northwestern Ohio. 49. At the time, special effects people used Roman candles or grinding devices to produce showers of sparks. 50. Cloud cover stretched across the southern Plains and the middle-Mississippi Valley, producing light showers in parts of Texas and Oklahoma. |
