31. All students take a strategic management course in the spring and summer terms and in addition have a free choice of four out of a range of options. 32. Each term students take two courses, each course being taught in a weekly two-and-a-half-hour session. 33. This course is usually taken by students in the first year of their University of Edinburgh Doctoral programme. 34. All other students take a course in advanced texts from the Hebrew Bible. 35. Students take two special subjects and an introduction to research methods. 36. Students take six units covering Landscape Design, Management and Science. 37. Part-time students take either one or two courses a year and attend the same daytime classes as full-time students. 38. In all cases, there is opportunity for students to take courses offered in areas outside their main interests. 39. All students take an essential core of subjects covering the main theological disciplines. 40. Students may take a wide variety of subjects both from within and outwith the faculty this is one of the ways in which options can be kept open. |
