31.   In the Middle Atlantic states, rain will taper to spotty showers early in the morning.

32.   In the Northeast, low pressure poised off the New Jersey coast will circulate cool, Atlantic moisture westward, bringing spotty light showers to the Northeast Seaboard.

33.   In their wake, a sluggish, weak upper-level low-pressure system will touch off a few spotty showers over the peninsula.

34.   Intervals of sunshine will cover the Northeast coast but considerable clouds and spotty showers will prevail across the interior.

35.   Later Saturday, spotty showers will dampen parts of the Adirondacks of upstate New York, with snowflakes possible at the highest elevations.

36.   Meanwhile, patchy drizzle and spotty showers will dampen eastern New Mexico and western Texas.

37.   Most of the day will be dry, though spotty light showers will occur at times, especially over southern Michigan, Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

38.   Much of the interior West will be unsettled, with spotty showers in the valleys and some snow along west-facing mountain slopes.

39.   Onshore breezes will direct cool air with spotty showers into the western Washington.

40.   Partly sunny skies and mild air will cover the Northeast, with spotty showers due in parts of the interior.
