31.   Methodism had broken down the old geographical barriers so that now nearly all areas had their Nonconformists.

32.   The Health Study area had no static health facility, but weekly mobile clinics were held, at which study children were offered a highly subsidised service.

33.   Whereas some areas have a per capita income level well above the EC average, there simultaneously exist areas which have just a fraction of that average.
