31.   A UNHCR food convoy Wednesday was allowed through Serb lines into the Bihac enclave after being repeatedly held up by the Serbs or their rebel Moslem allies.

32.   Bosnian Serbs, for their part, have informed the office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees that no convoys will be allowed into Sarajevo next week.

33.   The Taliban also allowed food convoys into Kabul at the weekend after they opened up a main highway during their stunning advance.

34.   Only a small UN humanitarian aid convoy has been allowed access to the refugees last Saturday.

35.   Only two UN resupply convoys have been allowed into the pocket since the beginning of heavy fighting in mid-November.

36.   Since mid-December, Croatian and Bosnian Serb troops and forces loyal to dissident Moslem warlord Fikret Abdic besieging Bihac have only allowed a few convoys into the pocket.

37.   The food situation is critical in the enclave, where only rare humanitarian aid convoys have been allowed through Serb lines.
