21.   Nearby villagers who rushed to the accident scene used bricks to break windows to pull out trapped passengers.

22.   On Sunday rescuers trudged by foot through snow to take food and warm clothes to the trapped passengers.

23.   Other railway officials said a rescue team was at the site and had brought out at least nine trapped passengers.
