21.   Israel launched Friday investigations into the Palestinian preventive security chief in Jericho amid a crackdown on his agents operating beyond the autonomy borders.

22.   It said they had agreed that officers of the Palestinian preventive security service in Gaza and Jericho could set up in Jenin and Nablus from Sunday.
