Pulse until the mixture is the texture of coarse meal. 25. Place dry ingredients with butter and cheese in bowl of a food processor and pulse to make a coarse meal. 26. Rapidly cut the butter into the flour with your fingertips or two knives, until the mixture resembles coarse meal. 27. Rub in the cold butter and shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal. 28. Rub in cold butter until mixture resembles a coarse meal. 29. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal. 30. Using fork or pastry cutter, cut in butter, until mixture resembles coarse meal. |
