11.   The plaintiffs are current or former residents of a neighborhood near a Cumberland Farms market and gas station, who used private wells.

12.   The wells are used to channel rain water, household waste water and runoff and should help ensure a good supply of water during the dry season.

13.   Villagers who use the well have been warned to find other sources of water, Newaz said.
