13.   Clouds and widely separated showers will accompany a cold front through the eastern Great Lakes states.

14.   Clouds and widely separated showers will persist east of the mountains.

15.   Farther south, variable clouds will dull the day over western Florida, with some widely separated showers and thundershowers developing.

16.   Farther south, widely separated showers and thunderstorms will burgeon along a cool front stretching west-southwest from the Carolinas to southern parts of Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.

17.   Farther west, variable clouds and some widely separated showers will occur in the northern Great Lakes.

18.   However, a widely separated shower is possible over the mountains of Oregon and Idaho.

19.   In the absence of a concentrated zone of rising air, only light, widely separated showers will occur across the region.

20.   Meanwhile, widely separated showers and thunderstorms will form over the peninsula, fueled by inbound ocean moisture.
