13.   A strong disturbance moving southward in California will promote showers in the Central Valley and along the central coast.

14.   Cool, moist air over the Northwest will promote mountain showers.

15.   Cool, moist onshore winds will promote showers west of the Cascades.

16.   Cool air at high-levels will promote scattered showers over the mountains of the Northwest.

17.   Farther north, onshore winds will promote scattered showers across the Pacific Northwest.

18.   Farther west, an approaching cold front will promote scattered showers along west-facing slopes in the southern and central Rockies.

19.   Farther west, a fast-moving disturbance will promote snow showers from the northern Great Lakes to the west slopes of the central Appalachians.

20.   Exceptionally chilly air will promote snow showers near the Northwest coast as well as in the Cascades, Bitteroots and Sierra.
