17.   But during the past week the jet stream has retreated to Canada, leaving behind a slow-moving storm that has produced recurrent showers in the East.

18.   But moisture associated with the southern branch of the jet stream will produce a few showers in central Florida.

19.   Cumulus clouds will bubble up above the higher peaks, though only a few will produce showers.

20.   Cool, moist air flowing into the Pacific Northwest will ascend the Cascades producing more showers.
