A shrinking pool of very cool air over the Northwest will still produce showers. 13. A weak front will produce isolated showers in the Northwest. 14. A strong storm moving toward the Northwest coast will produce showers in the mountains. 15. A weak disturbance will produce light showers from the central Appalachians to the Carolinas. 16. A weakening jet stream disturbance over the southern Piedmont will produce a few showers in Alabama and Georgia. 17. But during the past week the jet stream has retreated to Canada, leaving behind a slow-moving storm that has produced recurrent showers in the East. 18. But moisture associated with the southern branch of the jet stream will produce a few showers in central Florida. 19. Cumulus clouds will bubble up above the higher peaks, though only a few will produce showers. 20. Cool, moist air flowing into the Pacific Northwest will ascend the Cascades producing more showers. |
