11.   Outfielder Kevin Mench was told Monday he is being optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma, opening a roster spot.

12.   Pitcher Steve Green was optioned to triple-A Salt Lake and pitcher Derrick Turnbow was optioned to double-A Arkansas.

13.   Right-hander Bryan Corey, a Thousand Oaks High and Pierce College product, will return from the disabled list today and be optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas.

14.   Right-hander Jim Bruske is most likely to be optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque, in order to make room for Martinez.

15.   Rocker was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma on Wednesday, but the Rangers gave him extra time before he has to report.

16.   Right-handed pitchers Felix Rodriguez, Eric Weaver and Ramser Correa, catcher Ken Huckaby and shortstop Wilton Guerrero were optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque.

17.   Third baseman Mike Lamb and pitcher Francisco Cordero were optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma.

18.   Todd Greene, optioned to triple-A Edmonton on Tuesday, did not join the club in Oklahoma City on Thursday as planned.

19.   Two relievers no longer are in major-league camp -- Bart Miadich was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake and lefty Dan Serafini was assigned to minor-league camp Saturday.

20.   With Kevin Mench having been optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma, the Rangers still have five active possible outfield possibilities.
