11.   A New York state appeals court Wednesday denied a request by Colin Ferguson to have his murder trial moved from Nassau County to Brooklyn.

12.   A judge ordered the trial moved to Albany, saying the officers could not get a fair trial in the Bronx because of all the publicity surrounding the case.

13.   After the trial was moved to Tyler because of publicity about Fain, officials took precautions against a possible acquittal.

14.   But he vowed to move the trial later, if jury selection became a problem.

15.   But James Culleton, the lawyer for Murphy, said the officers have already been so damaged by negative publicity that moving the trial would not be much help.

16.   But later, facing a line of television cameras, Sherman was blunter, saying that prosecutors had little reason for moving the trial other than their own convenience.

17.   But the prosecutors may be more amenable to a defense request to move the trial out of Oklahoma City because of adverse publicity and outrage over the bombing.
