11. A weak high pressure system north of the region will continue to produce light winds and generally dry weather across the islands through Wednesday. 12. A strong high pressure system located in the central Atlantic will continue to produce strong southeast winds across the islands through Sunday. 13. A surface high pressure system over the Atlantic northeast of our area will continue to provide a moderate east wind flow across the islands through saturday morning. 14. A weak frontal boundary located across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will drift slowly back and forth over our island at least through Thursday morning. 15. An area of drier air with little cloud cover prevails across our local area this morning ... And is expected to remain across our islands through the evening hours. 16. An upper-level trough located just east of the Lesser Antilles will drift west across the islands through Friday. 17. Areas of showers will continue to affect the islands through the weekend. 18. Caribbean youth have been particularly influenced by American basketball beamed into the islands through satellite television. 19. Drier air at the lower levels of the atmosphere moved in across the area overnight and is expected to persist across our islands through this evening. 20. Foreigners entering the island through these points are routinely detained and fined or imprisoned if they cross to the south. |
