11.   Mollie Beattie, director of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, approved the transfer of the freshwater mussels to the National Fish Hatchery.

12.   The freshwater mussels will be kept in a hatchery pond until a suitable home can be found or until the zebra mussel invasion declines.

13.   The freshwater mussel holding and experimental breeding will not affect trout production at White Sulphur Springs, Duncan said.
