11.   The NATO allies met Wednesday to finetune options for military action designed to get Serb forces to halt their crackdown against secessionists in the southern Serbian province of Kosovo.

12.   They demanded that Russian forces halt attacks on Chechen rebels.

13.   U.N. officials said Friday that government and Croatian forces apparently halted one Serb advance west of Bosanska Krupa.

14.   Bosnian Serb forces have halted an offensive by Bosnian government forces and Bosnian Croats on the southwestern front of Kupres, the Bosnian Serb agency SRNA reported Saturday.

15.   Chechen separatists said Thursday they would not continue peace talks with the Russian authorities in the breakaway Caucasus republic unless the Russian forces halted their offensive.

16.   SRNA agency, for its part, said Serb forces had halted the goverment offensive in the area.
