11.   A positive correlation was found between disease activity and the number of peripheral blood leucocytes.

12.   No correlation was found between perinuclear antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody positivity and localisation or extent of ulcerative colitis.

13.   No significant correlation has been found between impaired gall bladder emptying and overall diabetic control as determined by the percentage of total haemoglobin present as glycated haemoglobin.
