11.   A Libyan plane ferrying Moslem pilgrims to Mecca arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Tuesday in defiance of the UN embargo.

12.   Iraqi helicopters flew across the region to ferry pilgrims home on the last leg of their journey from Mecca.

13.   It did not specify if the national carrier would be used to ferry the pilgrims.

14.   The government said it had arranged for eight buses to ferry the pilgrims to their homes under police protection.
