11.   Warm enchilada sauce and either dip each tortilla in it or spoon or brush sauce onto both sides of each tortilla.

12.   Using tongs, carefully dip each tortilla into the hot lard to soften, then place it on a layer of newspaper covered with paper towels to drain.
