11.   Add eggs, orange zest, lemon zest, vanilla and almond extract.

12.   Add melted butter and almond extract and pulse to moisten cookie mixture.

13.   Add syrup and almond extract in small increments, tasting after each addition, until satisfied with flavor.

14.   Add the almond extract and eggs to the butter mixture and continue to mix until just combined.

15.   Finally, add rum flavoring, almond extract and milk.

16.   Flavor the filling with a little almond extract or almond liqueur.
