101.   Greek Foreign Minister Carolos Papoulias on Wednesday rejected French calls for Bosnian Serb rebels to be driven by force from the defeated UN-declared safe area of Srebrenica.

102.   He said it would take at least one month to drive the rebels out of the capital.

103.   However, a response is unlikely as the Kinshasa government has ruled out any negotiations with the rebels and announced a counter-offensive to drive the rebels from Zaire.
